The 10th History Weekend offered audiences the opportunity to gain access to recent scholarship from experts and to hear new interpretations, ideas and knowledge across a wide range of early modern history topics. Lectures and guided tours were classified under four themes: ‘Royalty and Nobility; ‘War and Politics’; ‘Art, Literature and Religion’ and ‘Social History’. The Weekend was organised by the Centre for Kent History and Heritage in conjunction with Canterbury Cathedral Archives & Library.
