Medway Culture Club Community Carnival is a free family-friendly fun event. It is a day to get together and celebrate the diversity within our communities. It explores the traditions of the Notting Hill Carnival, which was first held in 1959 by members of the Windrush generation, which has grown to be the largest street festival in Europe. Medway Culture Club Community Carnival strives to bring a taste of this cosmopolitan event's culture and creativity to Medway, which champions diversity and inclusion.
Live entertainment, featured DJ Mikey Ragga playing carnival classics, live Steel Pan performances and drumming workshops, Samba dance classes and performers in carnival costume, creative crafts and face-painting, fun and games, mouth-watering food stalls, limbo, dominoes, raffle prizes and LOTS more!
